Let the vibrant colors, rhythms and romance of Spain transport you on an unforgettable musical journey.

From the quiet longing of a classical guitar to the explosive energy of a full orchestra, this program explores the many musical images that Spain has inspired.

Acclaimed guitarist Marcus Gerakos joins the La Mirada Symphony for Joaquín Rodrigo’s beloved Concierto de Aranjuez, one of the most recognizable and emotionally powerful works ever written for guitar and orchestra.

The journey continues through spirited works by Glinka, Granados, Chabrier, Bizet and Rimsky-Korsakov. Each composer sees Spain through a different lens, moving from moonlit streets and intimate reflection to dazzling orchestral celebration.

Together, these works capture the passion, elegance, mystery and irresistible rhythmic energy of Spanish-inspired music.

Yes. Admission is free, and no ticket purchase is required.
Do I need to reserve a seat?
No advance ticket or reservation is required. Seating is available on a first-arrival basis and remains subject to the theatre’s capacity.
What time should I arrive?
The pre-concert lecture begins at 2:15 p.m. The orchestra concert begins at 3:00 p.m. Arrive early to allow time for parking and seating.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. There is no formal dress requirement. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
May I bring children?
