The People Behind the Music.
Restaurants. Artists. Businesses. Organizations. Neighbors. Meet some of the people helping the La Mirada Symphony create experiences that extend far beyond the stage.
A concert begins long before the first note.
Throughout each season, local businesses, organizations and individuals find their own ways to support the La Mirada Symphony. Some provide hospitality. Others contribute merchandise, experiences, services, artwork or resources that help turn a concert into something larger than a performance.
These contributions happen away from the spotlight, but they become part of the experience audiences and musicians share when the orchestra takes the stage.
This page is our way of introducing some of the people behind those contributions — and saying thank you.
Cassidy’s Corner Cafe
Keeping the orchestra fueled.
Located within walking distance of the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, Cassidy’s Corner Cafe joined our community of supporters for the Symphony’s October 22 presentation of The Phantom of the Opera.
In addition to contributing gift certificates for the evening’s opportunity drawing, Cassidy’s offered bagels and cream cheese for our musicians backstage.
It is a simple gesture, but one that represents exactly what Community Partners are about: neighbors finding their own way to become part of the concert experience.
The Phantom of the Opera · October 22, 2026
A little something extra.
Community members, artists, organizations and local businesses also help support the Symphony by contributing experiences, handcrafted pieces, gift certificates and other items for our opportunity drawings and special events.
The Magician
A special experience donated for our October 22 opportunity drawing, giving one audience member the chance to take home something truly memorable.
Music-Inspired Jewelry
Special jewelry pieces inspired by music and donated in support of the Symphony and our concert-night opportunity drawing.
Community Quilt
A local quilt guild is preparing a handcrafted contribution, bringing another form of artistry into the Symphony’s community.
Christmas Collection
A holiday-themed collection contributed by Symphony board member Joan Cain as another way to support the orchestra through our seasonal fundraising activities.
Every contribution can become part of the evening.
Community support does not always arrive in the same form. Sometimes it feeds musicians backstage. Sometimes it gives an audience member something special to take home. Sometimes it provides a service that helps us do something better.
Take Care of the Musicians
Food, beverages and backstage hospitality can make a long rehearsal and performance day a little easier for our orchestra.
Give Something Memorable
Gift certificates, experiences and special opportunities can become valuable additions to fundraising activities.
Share What You Create
Artwork, merchandise, handcrafted objects and products can bring another layer of creativity into the concert experience.
Lend Your Expertise
Printing, photography, design, technical support and professional services can all make a meaningful difference behind the scenes.
Contributions.
Big Nights.
The concert is only part of the story.
A Symphony performance involves much more than what happens under the lights. There are musicians to care for, audiences to welcome, programs to create, stories to tell and experiences happening throughout the theatre.
Community contributions help us make those moments possible while connecting the orchestra with the businesses, organizations and people who call this area home.
One contribution may seem small by itself. Put together, those contributions help create an evening.
Have something you’d like to contribute?
Restaurants. Retailers. Artists. Service organizations. Community groups. Local businesses. Individuals.
You don’t have to be a large corporation to become part of the Symphony’s story. If you have an idea for supporting an upcoming concert through goods, services, hospitality, experiences or other resources, we’d love to hear from you.
Looking for a larger sponsorship opportunity?
Corporate sponsorships are separate from Community Partnerships and are designed for organizations seeking broader recognition, marketing visibility and season-long involvement with the La Mirada Symphony.
We welcome conversations with companies interested in building a larger relationship with our organization and our audience.
Have an idea?
Let’s talk.
Some of the best community partnerships begin with a simple conversation. If your business, organization or group has an idea for supporting an upcoming La Mirada Symphony concert, we’d love to hear it.
Tell us what you do, what you might like to contribute and what kind of connection you would like to make with the Symphony. We’ll see where the idea takes us.
Community Partner recognition is based on the nature of each contribution and event. Community Partnerships are separate from paid advertising and formal corporate sponsorship packages.
