The Friends of the La Mirada Theatre are hosting a Scavenger Hunt at the Theatre!

On Monday, August 28, the Friends of the La Mirada Theatre are hosting a fundraising scavenger hunt at the Theatre!

This delightfully interactive event will take participants all over the Theatre: backstage, upstairs, dressing rooms, the pit, etc., in search of clues. Participants will be put into teams with a “celebrity” in each group.

See the theatre as never before including behind the stage and the Green Room as participants will uncover 15 clues that will lead them to the Grand Prize. Participants will need to find the answers to the clues and decode the phrase that will tell them where the Grand Prize is located.

The evening will include refreshments, door prizes, food, drawings and celebrity guests including actors, directors, producers, city dignitaries and others.

The scavenger hunt is based on an event created by Stephen Sondheim in New York City 20 years ago. It was so much fun that it’s been adapted for La Mirada!

Prizes include:

  • La Mirada Theatre tickets
  • Two tickets to Disneyland
  • Two tickets to Medieval Times
  • Several $25 gift certificates and MORE
  • …and a food and drink reception to follow!

We have a limited number of tickets! Form teams of 3-4 or we’ll match you up with new friends. Celebrity guests will join your team. You’ll be searching for clues in areas of the Theatre you never knew existed!

Monday, August 28 – Doors open at 6:30 pm
Donation: $15 per person in advance
