Hosted by actress Morgan Brittany, the Golden Clef Awards were handed out for the first time this past Saturday evening and Broadwayworld.com was there to help kick off the new award show. At the Golden Clef Awards Gala, individuals and organizations were honored for their significant contributions to the art of music. Honorees included Paul Williams, Shirley Jones, Roy E. Disney (who was honored posthumously with the award being presented to Roy Patrick Disney by Dave Bossert), and Supervisor Don Knabe (who was represented by Steven Napolitano).

Also in attendance were Broadway performers Rex Smith, James Mulligan, Carly Bracco, Impressionist Paul Boland, and Richard Allen at the piano who provided a musical tribute for each of the honorees.
