Music from the 60's, big band style, will be highlighted as well as memory-joggers through the ages. The delightful singing duo, Ryan and Heather Riethmeier will return center stage to sing songs from Camelot which is celebrating its 50th year also.
Richard Rintoul will accept the baton as Guest Conductor for this celebration. Richard has an extensive background in conducting, viola performance, teaching and film and television recording. He is heartily welcome to the stage for this special occasion. Visit his web site.
Our centerpiece for this momentous occasion. will be the premier performance of an original composition written by native son Nolan Gasser to honor his hometown, La Mirada, Nolan is an award winning and national critically acclaimed composer of music from classical to rock! His La Mirada tribute promises to be one you will long remember.
By popular demand, our entire city council will return to perform The Toy Symphony on stage. The program will be introduced by one of our favorite Masters of Ceremonies, Councilman Steve Jones, who will guide us through a nostalgic and amusing view of La Mirada since its incorporation in 1960.
